RivistaDada n°43 - Giotto and Saint Francis
150 years: this is the amount of time that divides the birth day of Saint Francis and the day Giotto died. Nonetheless, they revolutionary view of the world seems to connect them. Francis transformed weakness into strength, fear into poetry, poverty into richness, pain into joy. Giotto expressed in figures this human revolution, giving emotions and passions a voice. Their aim seems the same: taking on Earth what was considered too divine to reach.
